Do it where you can and not all Green Design has to be Pricey. Do your Research and Sourcing well. Don’t have time for that hire a local Designer to help with that. *HINT*

SHOP LOCAL-

Supporting local businesses means supporting local families as well. Building a strong community is so very important. This goes for local trades and homeprenures &  local stores. In the long run it also is green >  the shorter distance of travel to get to you means fewer carbon emissions are created by transportation. BOOOM!

ANTIQUE/ SECOND HAND STORES-

So many good things can be found from something someone else simply doesn’t want anymore.

PLANTS-

Decorating Green. Literally. Not only are plants beautiful and the perfect accent for every space. They also help improve air quality!! If you swear you kill everything, I’m telling you there is a plant out there for you. There are even studies that suggest they boost your mental well-being.. hmm.

LOCAL GREEN STORES-

In most cases these stores often sell well sourced eco friendly and zero waste products but they also provide insight and education. THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF.

Donate it – A lot of Local Thrift Shops are non-profit and they give back to the community any profits that they make.
